Diirt is a Seattle-based indie dream-pop meets shoegaze band formed in 2019 as a solo project. Diirt’s sound is driven by merging and layering instruments to create an ethereal atmosphere of sound/feeling that is diverse and energetic. The poetic and emotional lyrics are the heartbeat of the music where Desi draws from their own experience to create a relatable undertone. Diirt is working on finishing their first debut full-length album. Their debut single “in orbit” was released in February 2022. One fan said: “Diirt is like when you finish a box of Oreos and dig deeper and there’s another Oreo. And whenever you think you got the last one there’s one more somehow.”
