Hovering Shrikes is the result of more than a decade of collaboration between poet-lyricist Ryan Wilson and multi-instrumentalist Casey Frantum, now joined by Dan Duncan on drums and Ian Stephens on bass. Combining their shared love of cinematic storytelling, post-punk mutability, and the unexpected sums of disparate parts, the group has been not-so-quietly forging a towering collection of songs.
